Dover International Speedway
The Dover International Speedway was originally the Dover Downs International Speedway. The move of the company to change its name was driven by the fact that the Dover Downs Entertainment changed its name as well to Dover Motorsports. Though the company changed names; the company still maintains its headquarters at the racetrack. The Speedway is NASCAR-sanctioned race track and as such one of the most respected in its field. The racetrack occupied by the company is home to the second race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup and the year 2008 will be significant for Speedway since the year marks the 40th year. The Speedway is owned by the Dover Motorsports and aside from the Speedway, the Dover Motorsports also owns and manage a number of motorsports facilities and some of these facilities include the well-known Nashville Superspeedway, the Gateway International raceway and the Memphis Motorsports Park.
The company is active in the management of racetracks and as such the company is well-known in its niche market, and has been doing a lot better since they engaged in a credit restoration program. The company and other companies of the same nature may not be active in the stock market, but still if it comes to track management then this company is worth looking into by the person interested in stock investing. Before a person plunges into investing, it is still best to look at standing of the company thru the use of stock trading software. This software works just like the stock market software that gives the interested individual some guidelines on how to understand and anticipate the market well. The finance-side of the business and all possible risks are often taken into account by this stock market software.
